Patient Financial Advisor II Position

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Patient Financial Advisor II to join our team. As a Patient Financial Advisor II, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Key Responsibilities:- Support current care plans and throughput within acute medical centers.
- Assist with financial processes, including authorizations, verifications, and financial options for patients.
- Work with Case Managers to ensure patients' financial obligations are met and coordinate with them to support discharge planning.
- Coordinate and collaborate with eligibility vendors.
- Provide direct patient financial counseling when appropriate.
- Assist patients in completing Adventist HealthCare charitable applications.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare financial environment.
- High School Graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
- At least one year of experience establishing eligibility and/or payment authorizations.
- Strong knowledge/training in government payor rules and regulations.
- Strong knowledge/training regarding TPLs, WC, and other payment sources and liabilities.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
7am-3:30pm and 10:30am-7pm.
