Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Patient Financial Advisor II to join our team at White Oak Medical Center. As a Patient Financial Advisor II, you will play a critical role in supporting our patients' financial needs and ensuring a smooth transition through our care process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support current care plans and throughput within acute medical services
  • Assist with financial processes, including authorizations, verifications, and financial options for patients
  • Work with our Care Management team to ensure patients' financial obligations are met and coordinate discharge planning
  • Collaborate with our eligibility vendor to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide direct patient financial counseling and assist with completing charitable applications
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare financial environment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent; some college preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience establishing eligibility and/or payment authorizations
  • Strong knowledge of government payor rules and regulations, as well as TPLs, WC, and other payment sources and liabilities
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
Work Schedule

7am-3:30pm and 10:30am-7pm
