Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Patient Financial Advisor II to join our team at White Oak Medical Center. As a Patient Financial Advisor II, you will play a critical role in supporting our patients' financial needs and ensuring a seamless billing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support current care plans and throughput within acute medical services
  • Process financial transactions, including authorizations, verifications, and financial options for patients
  • Collaborate with Case Management to ensure patients' financial obligations are met and discharge planning is coordinated
  • Coordinate with eligibility vendors and provide direct patient financial counseling as needed
  • Assist patients in completing Adventist HealthCare charitable applications
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare financial environment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent; some college preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience establishing eligibility and/or payment authorizations
  • Strong knowledge of government payor rules and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of TPLs, WC, and other payment sources and liabilities
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
Work Schedule

7am-3:30pm and 10:30am-7pm
