Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee blood collection personnel at our Donor Center, including training and performance management.
  • Strive for results while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Engage personally with donors—listen to their stories and help them appreciate the significance of their contributions.
  • Foster a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues to encourage donor return visits.

Standard Schedule:

  • Variable hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
  • To best serve our donors and community, staff work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Schedules are provided two to three weeks in advance.

Compensation Information:

  • Starting salary is $68,000 per year, with potential increases based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience (four to eight years in a related field) is required.
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience is necessary.
  • Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
  • Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push, or pull heavy items, good manual dexterity, and the capacity to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in apheresis or dialysis.
  • Leadership experience exceeding two years in a healthcare setting.
