This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of insurance products and a passion for helping others. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions to meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a needs-based insurance consultative sales process to help clients design the right policy for their unique situation
  • Become an expert on our disability and permanent life insurance products through independent onsite training and cross-team collaboration
  • Provide world-class customer service and coordinate with our brokers and carriers to efficiently communicate client needs
  • Provide and receive actionable feedback to drive efficiency, process, and product improvements
  • Adhere to team norms and policies while meeting quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
Requirements:
  • Functional knowledge of and 2+ years insurance sales experience in life and disability insurance
  • A life, accident & health insurance agent or broker license
  • A service mindset and passion to help clients problem-solve tough and unique cases
  • The ability to help clients understand the complexity of life and disability insurance products in simple language
  • A basic understanding of financial planning (preferred)
  • Honesty & integrity, with a commitment to doing the right thing for clients and the team
  • A positive attitude and desire to be part of a team where you can take ownership of your work and the team's success
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to overcome objections and think on your feet
  • Self-management and the ability to prioritize workflows
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
