Key Responsibilities:- Drive a needs-based insurance consultative sales process to help clients design the right policy for their unique situation
- Become an expert on our disability and permanent life insurance products through independent onsite training and cross-team collaboration
- Provide world-class customer service and coordinate with our brokers and carriers to efficiently communicate client needs
- Provide and receive actionable feedback to drive efficiency, process, and product improvements
- Adhere to team norms and policies while meeting quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Functional knowledge of and 2+ years insurance sales experience in life and disability insurance
- A life, accident & health insurance agent or broker license
- A service mindset and passion to help clients problem-solve tough and unique cases
- The ability to help clients understand the complexity of life and disability insurance products in simple language
- A basic understanding of financial planning (preferred)
- Honesty & integrity, with a commitment to doing the right thing for clients and the team
- A positive attitude and desire to be part of a team where you can take ownership of your work and the team's success
- Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to overcome objections and think on your feet
- Self-management and the ability to prioritize workflows
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
