We are in search of a skilled attorney to enhance our outstanding cannabis law team, who will take on a principal role within the firm and gain insights into the operations and growth of a successful practice.

Our attorneys leverage their extensive experience and business insight to navigate the highly regulated cannabis sector, providing top-tier legal counsel and services to address the multifaceted challenges faced by cannabis enterprises.

Role Requirements:

We are looking for a corporate attorney with a focus on private company governance, commercial transactions, and mergers & acquisitions, specifically with experience in cannabis regulatory law to lead our expanding Cannabis Law practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing industry stakeholders such as cultivators, processors, dispensaries, independent testing laboratories, transportation firms, and other ancillary businesses. Experience in similar roles across different jurisdictions is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law institution
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a law firm setting
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Proven experience in supervising other attorneys and support staff
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis industry regulations, particularly in representing industry stakeholders
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Experience in establishing and managing a cannabis business, whether directly involved or ancillary, requiring strategic planning and design

Compensation:

*Salary range of $k, contingent on existing client portfolio

*Potential earnings up to $1M annually

*Annual performance bonuses available
