About the Role

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team in New England. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute work on wastewater and water utilities, including treatment plant, pumping station, and biosolids facility planning and design.
  • Develop scope, schedule, and budget for new projects.
  • Prepare technical deliverables, including modeling reports, design reports, and technical memoranda.
  • Present findings to clients through effective oral and written communication.
  • Lead project teams in planning and designing major engineering projects and coordinate special planning, economic, and engineering studies.
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams, including other disciplines.
  • Review and analyze engineering data and reports.
  • Lead and manage construction administration phases of projects, including submittal reviews, requests for information, and change orders.
  • Take technical and management responsibility of tasks and delegate effectively to junior staff.
  • Assist in preparation of client fee proposals.
  • Successfully manage and deliver projects on time and on budget.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with an Environmental focus (or related engineering discipline).
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in the study, design, and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater facilities.
  • Professional registered engineer in the State of Massachusetts or Connecticut, or the credentials to obtain registration in a timely manner.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred but not required.
