Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to manage the successful operation of the Resident Care Department. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee the direct supervision, coaching, and management of all resident care service providers in the community.

  • Direct oversight and coaching of resident care service providers
  • Provide on-floor nursing support to residents and interact with family members
  • Conduct external and internal assessments as needed
  • Manage compliance with resident care related regulations
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with families and friends of residents
  • Assure compliance with all resident care related regulations
  • Document and provide accurate record-keeping
  • Demonstrate personal and resident safety methods and procedures
Requirements
  • Required: Registered Nurse, per state regulations; Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a plus
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice experience as a RN and 2 years' experience in a care setting as a RN
  • Certified in Gerontology through the American Nurses Credentialing Association is a plus
  • Knowledge of Dementia care is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds individually
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
