Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain safety policies and programs
- Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards
- Meet or exceed company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning
- Coordinate interview scheduling, ensure all necessary materials are prepared in advance, and lead recruitment activities
- Participate in interviews, provide feedback, and collaborate with hiring managers to select the best candidates
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and connect analysis to business outcomes
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team members to finalize job offers, manage pre-employment screenings, and facilitate new hire orientations
- Support employees with leave management, administer company benefits plans, and lead open enrollment processes
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as insurance regulations, by maintaining HR records and generating necessary reports
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1-2 years of prior HR experience (internship and/or HR Assistant role)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience in UKG and/or other HR Workforce Management platform preferred
