Job Summary

As a Human Resources Business Partner at Glenroy, Inc., you will play a vital role in driving the company's success by developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a safety leader and ensures a safe working environment by collaborating with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain policies and programs.
• Develops and implements strategies to meet or exceed company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Coordinates interview scheduling, prepares necessary materials, and leads recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, arranging interviews, and conducting orientations for new employees.
• Participates in interviews, provides feedback, and collaborates with hiring managers to select the best candidates.
• Maintains regular communication with applicants, candidates, and employees through verbal and written correspondence.
• Analyzes workforce data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and communicates insights, recommendations, and actionable plans to leadership.
• Collaborates with hiring managers and HR team members to finalize job offers, including salary, benefits, and start dates.
• Manages pre-employment screenings, facilitates new hire orientations, and assists with benefits enrollment processes.
• Supports employees with leave management, including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation.
• Organizes and participates in company events, such as town halls, employee recognition, and holiday/cultural celebrations.
• Handles offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and coordinating employee separations.
• Administers company benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), FSA, HSA, and life insurance.
• Leads open enrollment processes and provides guidance on benefit offerings during renewal periods.
• Updates and maintains accurate job descriptions.
• Maintains a customer service-oriented approach aligned with the company's core values.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, as well as insurance regulations, by maintaining HR records and generating necessary reports.
• Serves as a backup to other HR colleagues when needed and provides support across the team.
• Performs administrative tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; 1-2 years of prior HR experience (internship and/or HR Assistant role). A combination of education and equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in UKG and/or other HR Workforce Management platform preferred.
• General knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws.

Communication Skills

• Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and handle both written and verbal communications effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to draft standard reports and handle complex correspondence.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, manage employee relations, and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Adaptable to changing conditions and able to handle confidential information securely.
