Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner Intern to join our team at Glenroy, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain policies and programs ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Comply with safety and health guidelines, quality standards, and housekeeping standards.
  • Meet or exceed company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and lead recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, arranging interviews, and conducting orientations for new employees.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Connect analysis to business outcomes and communicate insights, recommendations, and actionable plans to leadership.
  • Support employees with leave management, including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation.
  • Administer company benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), FSA, HSA, and life insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as insurance regulations, by maintaining HR records and generating necessary reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 1-2 years of prior HR experience (internship and/or HR Assistant role).
  • Experience in UKG and/or other HR Workforce Management platform preferred.
  • General knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
