In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your organizational skills and attention to detail to make a meaningful difference in your community and help change lives across San Diego.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Assist Care Managers in carrying out the established care plan, facilitating client services, and providing support to clients with daily tasks and errands.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare files for new clients, scan and maintain documents, collect and process mail, and enter check requests into our database.
- Communication: Respond to requests for information from survivors, connect with Care & Program Managers or Director as appropriate, and communicate with clients and other staff via phone, email, and video calls.
- Record Keeping: Enter case notes/client contacts into our database, track services and logs, and assist with audit preparation.
- Special Projects: Assist with additional projects as needed, including holiday deliveries and socialization groups.
- Experience: 1-2 years' experience working with the elderly, particularly those with PTSD and low-income populations.
- Administrative Skills: Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, familiarity with Jewish history, traditions, and culture, and ability to show an unconditional positive regard for clients.
- Language Skills: Good spelling, grammar, and written communication skills, excellent written and oral communication skills for professional and clear communication with clients, family, and community partners.
- Computer Skills: Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to learn and use multiple, complex data systems.
