Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies that align with our overall growth objectives
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify untapped opportunities and areas for expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, investors, and other key stakeholders
- Lead the negotiation and closing of partnerships, contracts, and agreements
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies
- Track and report on business development activities and pipeline status
- Deep background working with SOCOM, AFSOC, MARSOC, and experience selling production capabilities to SOCOM
- Understanding of FAR-based contracting and various contracting mechanisms
- 5+ years of business development experience
- Capable of TS-SCI clearance
- Capable of traveling 50% of the time or more
- Prior experience in a startup environment
- Active DoD security clearance
- Open to remote work with frequent travel to HQ in Torrance, California
