The Senior Wealth Advisor (also referred to as the Senior Financial Advisor - Investment Services - Workplace) collaborates with individual clients to create actionable plans that align with their financial objectives and consolidate assets with Empower. Utilizing appropriate licenses, certifications, and top-tier financial tools, the Senior Financial Advisor gains a comprehensive understanding of client needs and delivers tailored solutions to enhance their financial wellbeing.

In this position, you will not oversee a personal client portfolio but will concentrate on providing solutions to our clientele. A successful Advisor effectively engages in meaningful discussions with clients about the advantages of consolidating accounts to achieve financial goals in a straightforward manner. Performance in this role is gauged by the successful consolidation of external accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships by thoughtfully addressing client needs while maximizing the utilization of Empower's products and services.
  • Facilitate scheduled meetings to identify external asset opportunities, successfully close on identified opportunities, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for external assets.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of goal-oriented planning by proposing solutions for various savings objectives, including education funding, retirement savings, and other intermediate to long-term financial goals.
  • Apply Empower's conversation framework and interactive planning tools to assess participant needs and outline appropriate next steps.
  • Effectively manage time and pipeline to prioritize daily activities based on client needs and the potential for expanding relationships with Empower.
  • Oversee the process (using SalesForce CRM) to document client interactions, follow up appropriately during the account transfer process, and diligently pursue opportunities that remain open.
  • Collaborate with relationship management and advisory teams to prioritize meetings aimed at consolidating external assets and seamlessly transition clients back to the relationship management team once assets are secured.
  • Achieve bi-monthly sales and conversation targets to qualify for incentive compensation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include participation in staff meetings, product training sessions, and compliance with federal and state regulations pertaining to securities and insurance.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial sector with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of retail investment products and qualified retirement plans.
  • Possession of FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) registrations is required.
  • FINRA fingerprinting is mandatory.

What Distinguishes You:

  • A genuine passion for assisting mass-affluent clients in structuring and achieving their intermediate to long-term savings objectives.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ambition to excel in a fast-paced, senior sales environment.
  • A strong desire to rapidly learn and apply new financial tools, systems, and conversation protocols.
  • A team-oriented and client-focused mindset that upholds and enhances Empower's exceptional culture and customer-centric values.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a solid understanding of retirement plans.

What We Provide:

We offer a wide range of diverse and inclusive benefits to support our employees at every stage of their careers. We believe that empowering our employees to lead healthy, balanced lives results in optimal work performance.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Retirement savings options, including a 401(k) plan with generous company matching contributions, financial advisory services, and a diverse investment lineup.
  • Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year.
  • A business-casual work environment with the flexibility to wear jeans.
  • Generous paid time off from the start, including a paid time off program, ten paid company holidays, and three floating holidays each year.
  • Paid volunteer time of 16 hours per calendar year.
  • Leave of absence programs, including paid parental leave and paid short- and long-term disability.
  • Business Resource Groups (BRGs) that foster community around shared interests and identities.

Base Salary Range:

$70,000 - $92,500.00. This range reflects the typical minimum to maximum base salary for this position. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure, and skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
