Account Manager Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction at Axiomtek, a leading Industrial PC Manufacturer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the adoption of our embedded boards across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic regional sales plans to enhance sales and customer loyalty.
Analyze market data to assess customer needs, pricing structures, and discount rates, ensuring effective sales and marketing strategies.
Direct channel development activities, coordinate sales distribution, and establish sales territories, quotas, and goals to drive revenue growth.
Advise dealers, distributors, and clients on effective sales and advertising techniques to increase market share.
Lead product simplification and standardization efforts to eliminate unprofitable items from the sales line, ensuring a streamlined product portfolio.
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote our products and build industry relationships.
Deliver compelling sales presentations to key clients in collaboration with sales representatives, highlighting the value of our embedded boards.
Meet with key clients to assist sales representatives in maintaining relationships and negotiating deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Act as a liaison between the sales department and other related units, facilitating communication and collaboration.
Monitor and control expenditures to align with budgetary requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Collaborate with other departments to prepare manuals and technical publications, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Prepare periodic sales reports detailing sales volume, potential sales, and areas for client base expansion, providing valuable insights for business growth.
Monitor and evaluate competitive activities and product offerings, staying ahead of the market and adapting to changing customer needs.
Adhere to the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Preferred Attributes:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of computer hardware in the IT industry, with experience in ODM/OEM design services preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents, ensuring a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs.
Capability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members, providing excellent customer service and support.
Proficiency in writing speeches and articles for publication in accordance with prescribed styles and formats, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
Strong presentation skills to convey information effectively to top management, public groups, and boards of directors, ensuring clear and compelling communication.
Proficient in advanced mathematical concepts and their applications in analysis and reporting, providing data-driven insights for business growth.
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; familiarity with SAP is a plus, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Experience in hardware sales development and IPC work is preferred, with new business development experience a must for success in this role.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus, facilitating communication between HQ and international departments.
