The Anchorage Museum is committed to recognizing and honoring the land, culture, and language of the Dena'ina people. We are seeking a Museum Safety Manager to support our Director of Security and Museum staff in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, collections, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  1. Operational leadership of the security team, including oversight of daily and emergency operations.
  2. Close collaboration with various Museum departments to integrate security measures seamlessly into Museum operations, activities, and events.
  3. Assist in planning, set-up, take down, and implementing security for special events and exhibitions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
