Job Summary:
Civil construction project managers and engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the success of infrastructure projects. As a field operations specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of engineering work, contract administration, and project planning. Your main functions will include coordinating with project managers and teams to ensure quality control, safety, and timely completion of projects.

About the Role:
This is a mid-level position that requires a strong background in civil engineering or construction management. You will work closely with project engineers and managers to identify and mitigate potential risks, develop and implement project plans, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and scheduling will be essential in driving project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
* Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work
* Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages
* Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevation, control points, and compilation of as-built data
* Assist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily labor timesheets
* Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety training
* Order and schedule material deliveries
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite
* Supervise field operations
