Job Overview

In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the living and working environment for employees at Alyeska Resort. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive engagement and well-being programs, managing employee housing, and overseeing property management and resident relations.

Responsibilities
  • Community Building and Engagement:
    • Develop and implement dynamic programs, events, and initiatives that promote a sense of community and belonging among employees.
    • Lead the planning and execution of recognition and rewards programs to celebrate employee achievements and contributions.
    • Collaborate with various departments to organize engaging activities, social events, and outings tailored to diverse employee interests.
    • Foster an inclusive environment by supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the employee community.
    • Assist with special projects and initiatives as required with the overall People & Culture team.
  • Resident Management:
    • Supervise all aspects of the employee housing living experience, including lease agreements, check-in, and check-out.
    • Manage the housing waitlist, department housing allocations, and room assignments to ensure fair and efficient housing distribution.
    • Coordinate the new hire arrival experience, creating a positive and seamless first impression.
    • Coordinate housing tours and orientations for new employees, ensuring they understand housing policies and procedures.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate housing records, including occupancy reporting.
    • Assume responsibility for the budgeting and accounting aspects of employee housing, including rent and security deposit tracking.
    • Work in close partnership with the Payroll department to report and manage payroll deductions accurately.
  • Property and Safety Management:
    • Oversee property access, safety, and adherence to regulations, ensuring a secure and comfortable living environment for tenants.
    • Collaborate with Engineering/Facilities team to conduct regular property walkthroughs and inspections to identify maintenance and safety issues.
    • Collaborate with Engineering/Facilities team to facilitate a proactive approach to the maintenance of the buildings.
    • Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for timely repairs and improvements.
    • Collaborate with Engineering/Facilities team to manage inventory and procurement of supplies needed for housing operations.
  • Employee Facilities Support:
    • Oversee the activation and utilization of staff lounges and cafeteria areas to ensure clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for employees.
    • Work with the Director of People & Culture and other stakeholders to develop and sustain a robust Staff Cafeteria program.
    • Ensure the servicing and proper functioning of the coffee machine in the staff cafeteria.
  • Transportation Services:
    • Manage transportation and shuttle services for employees, including vehicle maintenance, logistics, drivers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
