Position Overview:
The role of the Construction Site Manager (Superintendent, Quality Assurance Lead, and Safety Officer) is crucial at the jobsite, requiring extensive experience and technical expertise in the renovation and replacement of HVAC and MEP systems within existing federal and mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing daily oversight of subcontractors on-site.
  • Monitoring contractor productivity, timelines, and overall performance.
  • Completing Daily Production Reports to track progress.
  • Assisting in the coordination of ongoing work activities.
  • Adhering to established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Engaging in problem-solving and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ensuring subcontractors meet project deadlines.
  • Interfacing with clients and stakeholders on-site.
  • Communicating daily project updates to the Project Manager.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all work-related equipment and protocols.

Safety and Health Management:
As the Safety Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing Accident Prevention Plans and developing Activity Hazard Analyses.
  • Conducting safety audits and inspections at construction sites.
  • Taking proactive measures when unsafe behaviors or conditions are observed.
  • Promptly reporting and addressing any safety concerns or incidents.
  • Documenting any injuries or near-miss incidents that occur.

Quality Assurance Duties:
In your role as Quality Assurance Lead, you will:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Quality Control Plan.
  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications and contract requirements.
  • Ensure all testing is performed by qualified personnel or approved facilities.
  • Distribute inspection and testing results to relevant parties.
  • Ensure timely corrective actions are taken to resolve issues.
  • Conduct pre-final inspections and create punch lists as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of changes for As-Built documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering management to resolve installation conflicts.
  • Conduct final inspections with government contracting and civil engineering personnel.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience managing HVAC and MEP renovation and replacement projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing Federal Construction projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing jobsite safety programs.
  • Certifications in EM hr, OSHA 30hr, and First Aid & CPR with AED.
  • USACE CQM Certification.
  • Familiarity with RMS.
  • Proficiency in Project, Word, Excel, and PDF software.
  • Active security clearance is preferred but not mandatory.
