Job Title: Admissions Recruiter

Join the dynamic team at Duquesne University as an Admissions Recruiter, where you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. As a key member of the Enrollment Management Group, you will be responsible for recruiting undergraduate students to achieve enrollment objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit undergraduate students through heavy phone outreach, personal emails, notes, individual appointments, and group presentations.
  • Plan and execute prospective student recruitment activities, including on- and off-campus events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, guidance counselors, and other constituents in the territory to assist with the recruitment process.
  • Evaluate undergraduate applicants' academic credentials and participate in the admission decision-making process.
  • Represent the university at on- and off-campus admissions events and programs, requiring coordination and execution of a personal travel schedule.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current PA Driver's license.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in admissions or student services at the college/university level.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.
  • Strong technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Banner, Slate, social media, and integrated database preferred.
