Position Summary: Senior AV Solutions Account Executive

The primary objective of the Senior AV Solutions Account Executive is to identify and cultivate new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships. This involves evaluating and promoting high-level audio, video, and lighting products and services tailored to address client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and finalize sales, orders, and service contracts.
  • Spend approximately 50% or more of your time in the field, generating new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while fostering consistent growth within a designated region.
  • Formulate effective business strategies for generating new sales leads and diligently follow up to achieve targets.
  • Engage in business development activities, including client site visits, cold calling, and utilizing online resources.
  • Commit to continuous learning about new products and services to effectively represent the company.
  • Proactively assess client needs and identify viable solutions and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with AVDG, Guitar Center retail locations, Support Center, Distribution Centers, and Contact Centers to fulfill client requirements.
  • Maintain detailed reports of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the A/V industry is highly desirable.
  • An established network of business contacts is a plus.

Requirements:

To join our team, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in selling AV integration products/services with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in a business-to-business and/or outside sales environment, ideally within the Audio, Visual, and Lighting sectors.
  • Strong understanding of business-to-business sales practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.
  • Self-motivation and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • A competitive spirit and a commitment to personal and professional success.
