About the Role

The Deputy Director of Visitor Services at AOC is a critical front-facing position that requires a visionary leader to champion onsite and online visitor experiences. This role involves leading programs and team development, leveraging innovative technology and collaboration to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large, complex diverse team and build a positive team culture
  • Develop successful collaborations and working relationships at all levels of the organization by building internal and external partnerships
  • Champion the Visitor experience by keeping large audience crowds engaged and enthused
  • Develop onsite and online points of engagement aimed at deepening and enhancing visitor experience, before, during and after their visit
  • Engage the public through technology

Requirements

Candidates for this position must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. This includes senior level experience leading a front-facing organization in a high-profile, high-volume environment.
