Job Summary:

The MSS Support Office in Haiti is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations section, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing operational tasks, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compose and distribute situation reports (sitreps) to relevant stakeholders, summarizing operational developments, incidents, and critical information.
  • Ensure 24/7 emergency watch coverage for the MSS and Force Commander, monitoring critical situations, responding to emergencies, and coordinating necessary actions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and decision-making support to enhance operational effectiveness.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience in multilateral peacekeeping operations.
  • Familiarity with international protocols, conflict resolution, and crisis management.
  • Fluency in Creole, French, and English is highly desirable.
