Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Logistics Director to lead the logistics functions of a multinational security support operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multilateral peacekeeping operations, international protocols, and conflict resolution. Expertise in financial management and trust funds administration is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment and Distribution:
Responsible for deploying, executing, and sustaining multinational security support operations with worldwide participating contributing countries and international donations. This includes moving the force and sustaining the force with United Nations trust fund and international contributions.

Supply:
Requires an understanding of supply operations, functions, and processes with UN and international partners. Planning for supply operations requires a collaborative environment to consider all major components of the joint logistics enterprise.

Maintenance:
Responsible for overseeing international donated equipment operational readiness and enforcing maintenance requirements.

Logistics Services:
Responsible for overseeing logistics services, including food service, water and ice service, life support area, and forward operating base services, hygiene services, and mortuary affairs.

Operational Contract Support:
Responsible for making timely, risk-informed decisions on the best source for procuring supplies, services, and construction through a contract while managing and assessing the resultant contract support.

Engineering:
Responsible for facilitating mobility and survivability of multinational security support forces, counter mobility of enemy forces, and providing infrastructure support.

Health Services:
Responsible for overseeing health services support, including preventive medicine, health surveillance and risk management, bio-surveillance, combat and operational stress control, dental services, laboratory services, and veterinary services.
