JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence is looking for a seasoned executive with effective communication skills, strong leadership experience within the national security, intelligence, counterintelligence, or cyber-intelligence to serve as the Principal Deputy Director for Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence. Please refer to the Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) in "Qualifications" section for required experience. MAJOR DUTIES: As the Principal Deputy Director for Intelligence and Counterintelligence you will: Assist in overseeing the entire Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (IN) office infrastructure and help manage the organization's foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, and cyber intelligence functions in the three operational directorates. Advise the Director on all business operations in the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, prominently including all budget activities (formulation, execution, procurement, auditing, and evaluation), personnel allocations and other critical underpinning systems to ensure their effective execution and continuous improvement. Assist the Director in all responsibilities for DOE and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), including their facilities and contractors, and in overseeing all DOE intelligence and counterintelligence activities and exercise delegable intelligence-related authorities vested in the Secretary of Energy by executive order, law, and implementing directives.
