Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Agency Outreach Coordinator to join our team at the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Trauma Agency's outreach programs, including the Tai Ji Quan program, and will work closely with the Trauma Agency Nurse Manager and other stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate the day-to-day and overall operation of the Tai Ji Quan program and other Trauma Agency outreach programs, including setup, breakdown, registration of participants, storage and upkeep of materials and inventory.
  • Outreach Location Opportunities: Identify and coordinate outreach location opportunities throughout Palm Beach County, collaborating with community partners to plan and strategize county-wide trauma outreach programs.
  • Staffing and Records: Coordinate staffing and maintain records of community instructors for all Trauma outreach programs.
  • Recruitment and Training: Aid in recruitment efforts for community instructors, including coordinating instructor courses.
  • Grant Coordination: Coordinate the Trauma Agency's current and future grants under the direction of the Trauma Agency Nurse Manager, Director of Corporate Quality, and Chief Medical Officer.
  • Grant Opportunities: Scout grant opportunities for the Trauma Agency.
  • Collaboration and Data Collection: Collaborate with Health Care District business units for grant implementation and ongoing coordination, including coordination of Falls Prevention Clinic. Collect and prepare data on outreach progress for the Trauma Agency.
  • Property and Inventory: Maintain coordination of all Trauma outreach property and inventory.
  • Liaison and Travel: Serve as a liaison between the Trauma Agency and county outreach professionals. Travel to outreach locations within Palm Beach County as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, including working in Red Cross shelters or performing other emergency duties.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in community outreach program development, engagement, and coordination; previous experience in grant development and coordination; and basic data management coordination are required. Proficient computer skills are necessary for database design, spreadsheet, word processing, and multimedia applications.
  • Professional Qualifications: Experienced professionals in the field of EMS or Wellness are encouraged to apply.
