The Opportunity

The Director, Commercial Data Strategy will develop a comprehensive data warehouse strategy and multi-year roadmap to create a sustainable data foundation for ComOps to make informed, data-driven decisions.

This role requires collaboration across the organization with key expert groups to assess available data, identify data and insight needs, and gaps to develop a customer master strategy aligned with Sales CRM.

The Director will own and manage multiple projects to support the data warehouse build and evolution, leveraging expertise in project management, business intelligence, analytics, and CRM tools.

The Role
  • Develops a commercial data warehouse strategy and multi-year implementation plan
  • Guides the implementation of a sustainable commercial data warehouse and analytics/reporting environment
  • Creates and maintains a 5-year plan for data and analytics strategy to support growth targets for Seqirus North America
  • Defines data governance structure in collaboration with global data owners and ensures compliance with standards and controls
  • Manages projects and represents commercial interests to create a complete, sustainable customer master at contact, account, and group levels
  • Supports CRM future evolution in partnership with I&T organization, including enhancing data capture from field to home office and data insights from home office to field

The Director will meet with cross-functional stakeholders to understand current data and tools, as well as future needs, and assess tools leveraged across the organization to ingest or output data and insights.

This role requires a strong understanding of business needs across ComOps functions and the ability to identify opportunities to improve or replace existing tools, including CRM, BI, Advanced Analytics, SAP, Targeting/Alignment tools, and Forecasting.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years' experience in a data management function
  • Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience
  • 7+ years cross-functional project management experience, preferably in data/IT space
  • Hands-on experience with traditional business intelligence reporting tools, e.g. PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau
  • Experience with SAP or similar data environment
