Position Overview:

The Optical Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for all customers and patients. Collaborating closely with the Optical Sales Manager, the associate will focus on:

  • Ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction
  • Driving sales performance while managing expenses
  • Meeting personal and store objectives
  • Implementing effective operational procedures
  • Engaging with customers to meet their eyewear needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing retail and optical skills to enhance customer interactions
  • Applying the CURE selling model to connect with customers, identify their needs, recommend suitable products, and educate them on their choices
  • Exhibiting polished communication and customer service skills
  • Operating POS and computer systems efficiently
  • Interacting with a diverse clientele
  • Demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Maintaining reliability and punctuality in attendance
  • Being flexible with scheduling, including weekends and special events
  • Meeting the physical demands of the role in a dynamic work environment
