Role Summary: The Suite Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all meeting spaces and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism, meeting all requirements prior to event commencement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and set up tables, chairs, and linens for events in the conference center.
- Provide and set up additional items not included in the room, such as flipcharts and screens.
- Assist in preparing conference rooms to ensure they are equipped with necessary materials (pens, pads, handouts, etc.).
- Refresh rooms between meetings to maintain a tidy environment.
- Deliver prompt and detailed service as directed by management or upon request.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, guests, team members, and support departments via phone and email.
- Assist clients and visitors throughout the facility, including providing directions and escorting them to meeting rooms.
- Collaborate with co-workers and service partners to ensure accurate information is shared.
- Offer recommendations to planning managers regarding room setups and collaborate on unique setup challenges.
- Conduct regular inspections of meeting rooms and notify the appropriate department for any required services.
- Assist with basic audio-visual equipment as necessary.
- Manage inventory of supplies and inform supervisors when additional items are needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or related roles is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
