About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for assessing patient, family, and staff learning needs, delivering appropriate clinical education, and promoting effective working relationships. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement clinical protocols and ensure optimal clinical practice and continuing education.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient, family, and staff learning needs and develop targeted educational programs
  • Deliver high-quality clinical education to staff and patients
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective working relationships
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of continuing education programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred)
  • Current valid California RN license
  • Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse certification (CCRN)
  • At least 3 years of recent ICU, Cath Lab, or Radiology experience
  • Ability to assess educational needs of staff, patient, and family
  • Ability to consult on a broad spectrum of professional nursing practice issues
