We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Westwood. As a NICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families. Your expertise and compassion will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Current California RN license
  • BSN or MSN degree
  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • NRP and PALS certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • 2+ years of Level IV NICU experience
  • Ability to perform historical, physical, and behavioral patient assessments
  • Ability to develop and implement patient care plans actively involving patients, family, and staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICU specialty certification (CCRN or RNC-NIC)
