About the RoleIn this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide evidence-based care in an academic ED setting to multiple patients of all ages with complex medical conditions. Patient populations include adult, pediatric, psych, geriatric, trauma, STEMI, and stroke.
Responsibilities- Assess patient, family, and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, and promote effective working relationships.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.
- Offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks.
We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
- Current valid California RN license, required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN degree, required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Either Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 6 months of start date
- One year of direct RN-based patient care in an Emergency Department setting required
