Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to women and infants in the Perinatal units, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices in perinatal nursing and advancing the field through research and innovation.
- Support a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current California RN license
- BSN or MSN degree
- 2+ years of perinatal RN experience
- NRP certification
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
