Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to women and infants in the Perinatal units, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices in perinatal nursing and advancing the field through research and innovation.
  • Support a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Current California RN license
  • BSN or MSN degree
  • 2+ years of perinatal RN experience
  • NRP certification
  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
