Responsibilities:


Uphold and respect the rights and confidentiality of consumers while exhibiting a compassionate and positive demeanor towards all clients, colleagues, visitors, and service providers.

Deliver personalized vocational guidance.

Conduct assessments for consumers.

Manage crisis situations effectively.

Provide limited case management services.

Perform site visits as needed to ensure compliance with service requirements and regulations.

Facilitate job development for both paid positions and volunteer opportunities.

Responsible for ongoing follow-up services for employed clients.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma is required. A college degree in Human Services is preferred.

Experience:
Relevant experience demonstrating the ability and knowledge for effective performance will be considered. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates must be well-organized and capable of working with minimal supervision. Proficiency in computer usage is required.

Other:
A valid NYS driver's license in accordance with the agency's clean driving record policy is necessary. Flexibility in scheduling and reliable transportation are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, and bending, is essential. Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
