Child Heart Specialist

Position Summary:

The Congenital Heart Center at the University of Florida is seeking a Child Heart Specialist, who has completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.

The ideal candidate should hold board certification in their primary specialty of Cardiology. This role involves delivering care to infants, children, and adolescents within the local clinics. The position includes a faculty appointment at the University of Florida in the College of Medicine, with academic rank determined by the candidate's career stage and development.

Our cardiac center is recognized as one of the largest in the state of Florida, catering to a balanced mix of surgical and medical patients.

This role will also encompass the education of pediatric cardiology to residents, fellows, medical students, and other healthcare professionals within the Congenital Heart Center.

There are significant opportunities for engaging in clinical research.

Expected Salary:
Commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential:
M.D. or equivalent; board certified or board eligible in their primary specialty (Cardiology).
