Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Shear Operator to join our team at EMR USA Metal Recycling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining mobile shearing equipment to process scrap metal efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, metal recycling processes, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate mobile shear equipment to cut and process various types of scrap metal, including ferrous and non-ferrous materials
  • Adjust shear settings based on material type, size, and desired output specifications
  • Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on the mobile shear and other related equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating mobile shear equipment or similar heavy machinery, preferably in a metal recycling or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of metal types, grades, and recycling processes is highly desirable
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
