Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Osceola Energy, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Office Manager to ensure the successful completion of solar projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring all project engineering accountabilities are completed on time and in compliance with technical, commercial, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop project schedules and budgets, and provide leadership and guidance to a multi-discipline project team.
  • Execute the procurement strategy for sourcing, evaluating, and contracting photovoltaic equipment and services for development, engineering, construction, and operations.
  • Work closely with the engineering, development, construction, and operations teams to analyze procurement options and ensure activities are performed consistent with established schedules and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain contacts and relationships with major equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and major contractors providing services to the solar industry.
  • Implement the process of measuring vendors and contractors' performance and monitoring risk exposure.
  • Provide progress reports and other status updates to clients and management as required.
Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Clean criminal history and ability to pass a federal background check.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, if required.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
  • Possess integrity and commitment to compliance.
  • Commitment to project success.
  • MS Office/Project literacy and strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
  • Electrical knowledge is preferred.
