Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at TAK Communications. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing projects of all sizes, scopes, and levels of complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects within scope, timeline, and budget expectations.
  • Lead projects with a balanced focus on achievement of targeted outcomes, meeting internal and external stakeholder needs, and creating efficiencies/reducing costs.
  • Provide full life cycle project leadership, including initial planning and assessment, project resourcing/team building, documentation/reporting, and post-close project analysis.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues, implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Regularly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, providing clear direction and status updates.
  • Prepare and provide executive status updates – including both the technical and human-sides of project management.
  • Manage a team of internal and external sources through project completion.
  • May include travel to site locations between 20%-60% of the time.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of direct project management experience is required.
  • Experience in contracts with RUS, NTIA, BEAD, E-ACAM required.
  • Experience with TERO & the Davis-Bacon Act required.
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic architecture and construction methods for installation a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications are preferred but not necessary – PMP, Scrum Master, Lean/Agile, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-driven, and a highly organized problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with a wide variety of people.
  • Experienced using project tracking tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen).
