The Lead Email Marketing Strategist will spearhead the planning and execution of email and SMS marketing initiatives within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workflow of email processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and approval of marketing assets.
  • Assist in the development and execution of SMS/MMS communication strategies, in conjunction with the Email Marketing Manager.
  • Identify target campaigns and ensure proper segmentation to align with business objectives and deadlines.
  • Utilize project management tools to organize and prioritize content requests effectively.
  • Oversee the tagging, scheduling, and deployment of emails, ensuring all assets are optimized for performance.
  • Implement personalization strategies to enhance customer engagement and improve key performance indicators.
  • Analyze campaign performance using various reports to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain a monthly email communication calendar, collaborating with the Email Marketing Manager and Creative Team for seasonal alignment.
  • Oversee the complete Salesforce Marketing Cloud process, including campaign creation, testing, and deployment of personalized email assets.
  • Ensure email templates adhere to brand standards and are optimized for various email clients and mobile devices.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests to verify functionality of links, images, and segmentation lists.
  • Collaborate with Creative Designers to develop engaging content that meets business goals.
  • Work closely with the Email & SMS Marketing Manager to ensure campaigns effectively target the right audiences.
  • Stay informed on best practices, technologies, and trends in Email/SMS marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in email marketing, with a strong understanding of effective messaging and deliverability.
  • 1+ years of experience in high-frequency email deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, preferably with Email Specialist Certification.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and intermediate technical skills, including HTML/AMPScript.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
