About the Role: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Formation Department in the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, managing parish records, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.

  • The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be responsible for managing the proper storage and disposal of confidential information, preparing and implementing budgets, and coordinating with the Director of Faith Formation on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage parish records, including sacramental records, volunteer schedules, and other administrative documents
  • Provide administrative support to the Formation Department, including data entry, mailings, and other tasks as needed
  • Coordinate with the Business Manager to prepare and implement budgets for the Formation Department
  • Work with the Director of Faith Formation to develop and implement new programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in administration or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Parish Data Systems
