Position Overview
As a key member of the Air Mobility Command, the primary role of this position is to act as a Sexual Assault and Harassment Victim Advocate, providing crucial support to military personnel, civilians, and their dependents.

Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as the installation's dedicated Sexual Assault and Harassment Victim Advocate.
2. Deliver a comprehensive range of advocacy services, ensuring victims receive essential support and guidance throughout the duration of their cases.
3. Collaborate with the installation Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) to develop and implement effective training programs on sexual assault and harassment prevention.
4. Foster partnerships with local victim support organizations to enhance resources available to victims and improve overall service delivery.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Basic Requirements:
- A degree in Behavioral or Social Science, or a related field, is required.
- Alternatively, candidates may possess four years of relevant experience demonstrating knowledge in behavioral or social sciences.
- A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge in the field is also acceptable.

Specialized Experience:
Applicants should have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-9 level or equivalent, which includes:
1. Applying social science principles related to victim advocacy and the prevention of sexual assault and harassment.
2. Understanding relevant laws and regulations, including those specific to the Air Force and victim advocacy.
3. Knowledge of social service delivery systems and methods pertinent to victim support.
4. Skills in training and educational techniques for delivering effective training on sexual assault and harassment.
5. Demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders with tact and diplomacy, particularly in sensitive situations.

Additional Information
Applicants must submit transcripts if education is being used to qualify. Volunteer work and part-time experience will be considered. All federal employees are required to have direct deposit.
