Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Opposing Forces Specialist to join our team at Seventh Dimension LLC. As an Opposing Forces Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating realistic training exercises for U.S. Army field training exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in weapons handling and operation training, including rifle, pistol, blanks, and dye-marking cartridges.
  • Engage students at the appropriate level of intensity and adjust responses based on their performance.
  • Understand the intent, mechanics, and flow of each exercise and perform duties in an austere environment with limited infrastructure.
  • Integrate into military scenarios using weapons, equipment, and vehicles in various situations, including hostile forces, ambushes, sniper, friendly forces, police, host nation civilian, terrorist, etc.
  • Ensure all weapons are properly cleaned and maintained to USAF EOS armory standards and returned upon completion of duty.

Requirements:

  • Must be of general good health to participate in these exercises.
  • Able to speak, read, and write English; a second language is a plus.
  • Have prior experience with the use, maintenance, and operations of military assault rifles and small arms.
  • Have the capability to possess a firearm(s) pursuant to Title 18 U.S.C. 922 and submit a DD Form 2760 prior to start and annually thereafter.
  • Have a clean background check with no indicators that would preclude applicants from handling weapons, ammunition, or pyrotechnics.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Capable of heavy lifting and carrying of 50 pounds; reaching above shoulder; use of fingers; walking (4 hours); standing (8 hours); running (1 hour); crawling (30 minutes); kneeling (30 minutes); repeated bending (1 hour); good visual perception.
  • Able to function in various environmental factors, including outside and inside, excessive heat, excessive cold, excessive humidity, and excessive dampness or chilling.
