Anaplan Model Builder for Corporate FP&A

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and developing business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that model architecture meets organizational objectives.
  • Gaining proficiency in insurance principles, with an emphasis on individual life insurance, annuities, group insurance, and retirement solutions.
  • Architecting, building, and sustaining Anaplan solutions while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Configuring and overseeing Anaplan lists, modules, pages, and actions to fulfill business needs.
  • Tracking and enhancing Anaplan models for optimal performance.
  • Producing and maintaining thorough documentation for end users and fellow model builders.
  • Positioning the team as the Core Anaplan Center of Excellence within the organization, offering training and support to boost Anaplan utilization.
  • Serving as a resource on Anaplan best practices and remaining informed about trends in the ecosystem.

Essential Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Certified Anaplan Model Builder.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a model builder in Anaplan or comparable Enterprise Performance Management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and adeptness in managing workload efficiently.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Anaplan Solution Architect.
  • Familiarity with QuickSight, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Experience in the insurance sector, particularly in individual life insurance, annuities, group insurance, or retirement planning.
