POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric sales culture, where our core values guide all store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive for Results

  • Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assist in selecting merchandise or locating items based on customer preferences.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and sales; uphold pricing and visual standards.
  • Ensure compliance with merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention standards, as directed by Management.
  • Engage in visual merchandising tasks, including monthly store setups and maintaining designated areas.
Customer Experience

  • Exemplify and advocate for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, delivering a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Promptly address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitate a swift and efficient checkout process, staying updated on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • Encourage additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enroll clients in loyalty programs.
  • Develop and nurture a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Maintain knowledge of current product offerings and styles available in-store and online.
  • Consistently communicate with clients through a customer relationship management system.
Operational Excellence

  • Assist in replenishment efforts to keep the store well-stocked.
  • Support merchandise fulfillment processes.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, including floor layouts and signage, as instructed.
  • Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth

  • Encourage a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Pursue personal development opportunities and actively seek feedback.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, associates, and management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives, with flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
