About the Role

Porch Group is a leading vertical software and insurance platform, and we're looking for a talented Business Development and Sales Utility Channel to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at key accounts
  • Lead in-person presentations to the leadership team and develop a scalable sales process
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of new enterprise customers
  • Initiate, negotiate, and close new contracts with customers
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to provide feedback and shape future product development
  • Work closely with the leadership team to provide input on business growth and align business development strategy with overall company objectives
Requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise account executive experience
  • Relevant sales experience in utilities required, home warranty preferred
  • Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contracts
  • Leadership, strong communications and presentation skills, networking, and sales
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, set and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite
  • Record of meeting or exceeding sales forecasts
  • Passion, drive, and the desire to be a part of a growing team that makes a difference for both the company and our customers
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial work environment where self-motivated individuals succeed
  • Proven track record of being efficiency-driven, improving processes, and sales strategy
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or related field
