The Department of Justice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Bureau Director - Strategic Transport & Technology Services Branch. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to software systems, as well as providing technical direction and guidance to highly technical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and recommend policies for the Technology Support Bureau (TSB) related to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and client agencies.
- Formulate and administer Departmental plans and provide overall program development and implementation.
- Advocate for legislative solutions and represent the TSB and DOJ before the Legislature, governmental agencies, and public and private organizations.
- Provide policy guidance to highly technical staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Lead the Strategic Transport & Technology Services Branch and the Production & Network Services Branch within the TSB.
- Experience in leading technical teams and developing policies and procedures.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
