Job Title: Sales Director

Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead their sales team in the Southeast region. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Profit Planning: Collaborate with the finance team to develop sales and profit plans to drive financial performance.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Team Management: Recruit, select, hire, onboard, train, and hold accountable the sales staff and team.
  • Order Management: Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with quotations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or direct sales, with a preference for candidates from an electrical or manufacturing sales background.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Availability: Ability to work 40 hours per week on a full-time, on-site basis at the Duluth office, Monday through Friday.

Travel Requirements: Travel is required 2 weeks out of the month to several of their Southeast offices.
