Position Overview

The Cannabis Product Compliance Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Track & Trace Manager, Supervisors, and Compliance Manager with various product handling tasks within the division. This position is tasked with executing a range of regulatory and compliance-related responsibilities, including the creation of labels, auditing packaging, and inputting conversions into seed-to-sale software using multiple live spreadsheets.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $18 to $20, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and distribute label templates for all production departments, ensuring compliance with language and packaging standards.
  • Execute and finalize all product conversions utilizing multi-feature seed-to-sale software (METRC) and internal inventory management systems (Dutchie, Backbone, or similar).
  • Quickly and accurately adapt to new software applications and processes.
  • Review and update essential documents containing regulatory language.
  • Collaborate with Department Managers to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current and compliant.
  • Conduct regular audits of raw and packaged products throughout various manufacturing stages.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy in all product tracking, security, and movement procedures in accordance with local and state regulations.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed to support team, department, and organizational success.

Working Conditions
  • Hands-on position within a cannabis production environment.
  • Indoor production setting resembling a warehouse.
  • Exposure to constant artificial, bright indoor lighting.
  • Occasional heavy machinery noise.
  • Physical activities include kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and standing.
  • Presence of plant pollen on surfaces and in the air, with potential extraction fumes.

Note: The facility contains confined spaces that may require ascending or descending stairwells. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Qualifications
  • Preferred experience of 1+ years in Production, Inventory, or Systems Management.

  • Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (to be obtained upon hire).
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
