Banking Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Banking Professional to join our team at Middlesex Savings Bank. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting the Bank's core values and mission.

• Develops an understanding of customers' needs and expectations, ensuring that products and services are offered that address those needs and expectations.
• Develops new business by recommending products and services to establish or extend customer relationships, including utilization of business partners as appropriate.
• Ensures quality and accuracy of work, demonstrating sound technical knowledge, including of Bank products, services, and technology services.
• Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed compliance, security, and risk protocols, maintaining proficiency in regulatory compliance.
• Is an engaged member of the branch team, stepping up as needed to accomplish team objectives, and supports the branch supervisors in implementing Bank policies, procedures, and initiatives.

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Three to six months banking or retail cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills desired.
• Must possess knowledge of basic math principles and be able to perform basic mathematical procedures.
• Must possess intermediate technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work extended and weekend hours, with scheduling and work location flexibility required.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 25 pounds.
