Summary of Responsibility:
Morris Group Inc is seeking an ambitious, diligent, and upbeat individual to join our growing organization as a Sales Development Representative. We are one of the top tier distributors of CNC machine tools in North America and have been in business for over 82 years. Our people are the backbone of our success which is driven by relationships and understanding our customers challenges.
The Role:
- The Sales Development Representative is the link between the Outside Sales team and the prospect. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for developing and generating a quality sales pipeline for the outside sales team.
- Research and pre-qualify potential new prospects.
- Follow up on Warm Leads generated by the marketing team.
- Identify key decision makers and update database list of contacts.
- Reaching out via phone and email, quickly and confidently establishing rapport.
- Listening and uncovering potential opportunities for The Morris Company.
- Provide accurate quotes to prospects and follow up on requests.
- Deliver on Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics-KPI's) to get results.
What You Will Contribute:
- BS/BA College Degree
- 1-2 years previous work experience in a customer facing role (prior experience in an outbound call environment is not required, although preferred)
- Strong desire to learn and advance in a sales career
- Highly developed drive to achieve and exceed goals.
- Passion for personal and professional growth; accepting of mentoring and other opportunities to develop.
